About Duru Insurance

Amy’s passion for helping people prompted her to start Duru Insurance in 2023 with one goal in mind, to help individuals as well as businesses with their insurance needs.

Over the past 17 years, Amy has worked on the federal compliance side of employer sponsored health, life, and disability plans plus employer sponsored pension plans. Amy is now approaching that passion of helping others slightly differently by helping to provide clients with the right kind of coverage(s) for their personal and professional needs as well as ensuring clients understand what their coverages can do for them.

Amy grew up in rural Illinois in a small town of 15k, and believes in the values of a small town as well as the bond of the community.

Amy hold a BA from Coe College as well as a MBA and Masters in Human Resource Management from University of Phoenix.

Amy keeps busy with her 3 kids as well as enjoys time with her family and friends, and community service.
